I decided to check this place out as I was attempting to bring home some fresh fish on the plane, I did not want frozen. The place that I usually go was not opened due to Covid. So I decided to give these guys a try. It was a Saturday, and like everything else in Kona they were not open on Sunday, so they were hesitant to cut and butcher the very large mahi they had that day, however they were more than happy to do so when they heard the situation I was in, and how much fish I wanted to purchase. I told them I was more than happy to wait until closer to the end of the day, which was 7 PM, as I did not want to cause them to lose a large amount of profit. I am not that type of person. However, it was truly the Mahi that I had come for, so they got everything ready for me and cut it into smaller slices that would fit into my carryon bag. They even provided extra ice packs for me, which I thought was a very nice touch. I did end up purchasing some Kampachi from them as well which I cooked this evening back in Scottsdale and it was excellent. Very nice quality and superb service, I would definitely go here again!!
